Dove House Hospice

Charity Industry Case Study

Being a charity, Dove House Hospice must have very strict control over their budgets. With their previous system, finance employees had to create and manipulate complex matrix reports which was time consuming and cumbersome.

The introduction of Opera 3 has allowed them to take advantage of the enhanced reporting features. Data is now effortlessly exported into easily readable spreadsheets using Pegasus XRL. Comparing figures in the new Excel format is now straightforward and any anomalies or discrepancies are easy to spot and address.

Opera 3 supports all aspects of Dove House's operation, including purchase ledger, cashbook management and payroll.

"As a charity, every aspect of our operation has to remain well within budget. Opera 3 has not only reduced the time it takes to produce management reports, but analysing the information is easier than before."

In my experience, Opera 3 is more detailed and has greater functionality than other similar products on the market. Additionally, the software has a straightforward look and feel which in turn simplifies account management processes and reduces the impact of error as any incorrect entries can be easily amended.
